Susfari is a sustainability and climate consulting firm focussing on sustainable and climate resilient development. We aim at achieving sustainable development with a capacity for climate resilience, allowing systems to thrive in constant change.
Our name is a derived from the term Sustainability and the Swahili word Safari, that means journey. We call this the sustainability journey, as sustainability is not a one time event but a way of being.

The greatest challenge of our time remains the threats posed by climate change.
Despite these challenges, developing economies need to create an environment that allows their citizenry to live a quality life. This is by achieving universal access to healthcare, education, energy, food security, eliminating poverty as well as providing an environment that allows economic development.
Guided by the Capabilities approach and employing system thinking, we integrate the triple bottom line of sustainable development i.e. economic, social and environmental pillars to our approaches and solutions. We incorporate resilience, allowing the systems the ability to absorb, adopt and function in the face of the known and unknown future changes. This allows us to provide diversified solutions, creating truly sustainable and lasting systems.
